If you need a foot doctor University and Ankle Institute is the place to go. The nurses are very helpful and Dr Franson is wonderful. The whole experience for me was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Me booked into an open MRI.

I only had on frustration with the process with Rolling Oaks Radiology. I had multiple MRI’s that I had to pay for:

- First, only took image of area where tendon had broken off. I am not sure where the communication broke down regarding what area needed to be captured to understand where both ends of the tendon were located. It cost me over $500.00 out of pocket.

- Second, while MRI captured complete area to see both ends of the ruptured tendon to inform us of the surgical prognosis, I still needed another MRI closer to the actual date of surgery. That cost me another $500.00 out of pocket.

- Third MRI did the job so we completely understood the locations and conditions of both ends of the ruptured tendon. This required another $500.00 to $600.00 out of pocket.

I am very happy with the visit. I got to answer which pathogens are infecting my toes. The doctor gave me options to treat it. He took the time and patience to explain it. The staff was great. Will definitely go back if there is a need.
