It was a great experience overall. The staff was fantastic and looked after my needs completely. It was seamless to schedule surgery along with my follow-up visits and care. I would highly recommend University Foot & Ankle Institute especially Dr. Franson. They are the best!

I'm very pleased with the medical, and staff care I have received. Nevertheless, a few administrative things:
1) I appeared for an appointment and was (nicely) told it was cancelled, and that I had a voicemail saying so, which I couldn't find. They agreed that only one of the 2 phone numbers I had provided was tried!
2) The 'update' I had to fill out on my last visit:
a) (written by a lawyer?) could have been half the text, b) for patients with no/few updates, could have been replaced with 1 page for any/no modifications noted 3) could have been sent to patient (with patient's previous data for reference) to bring to appointment, so the patient wouldn't have to, unexpectedly, take a long time (which I hadn't planned for) to do it on my lap! :)
Well, you asked for my experience! I really am very appreciative of my doctor and all the staff who are both good - and kind!

I have been very happy with how my procedure went. I am very happy with my progress and how everyone has handled both my physical but also mental well being throughout this process. I feel like this last visit and every visit everyone, from Dr. Baravarian, to the guy who cut my casts off to the Dr. who wrapped my casts, and to Cheli who coordinated and has tirelessly answered all of my questions and concerns. Thank you all for your dedication and assistance in bringing me back to full health with my toe. The only thing that I thought was weird in the entire process was the last minute extra $1000 charge but that was a simple oversight, is understandable and you know I think it was for amniox which seems to have really helped so I'm ok with the cost, but in that moment it was a jaw dropping price tag. Otherwise I have felt very taken care of ever since I started coming to see Dr. Baravarian last year for orthotics.

Doctor didn’t seem confident in figuring out was wrong with my toe, so just gave me an antibiotic and scheduled another appointment after 2 weeks to see if it helped; they didn’t help but I’m going back for my follow up appt tomorrow, so hopefully she can figure out what it is!

The office is fine. Your billing is very slow and they still have not resolved a credit with me since 2019. I love the doctor and have been a patient of his for years. However, no one ever gets back to you or solves your problems as far as billing. Also, if you come in for an orthotic adjustment and that is it, you still have to pay for an office visit. I do not think that is right, because the doctor is the one who makes the orthotic. If you would like to discuss this further, please call or write to me and I will submit all my records and you can compare them to yours.
