I appreciate Dr. Carter listening to me, and allowing me to have an open line of communication. For someone like me who is healthy and normally never has any issues to now be in a position where something is wrong, the communication takes away some of the fear and disappointment.

The only “complaint “ I have is that no one ever explained to me how to fit my brace into a shoe until this last visit. I did not understand that the sleeve was supposed to come off, this, finding it necessary to wear flip flops which I’m sure hasn’t helped my recovery. Bought some sturdy shoes that the brace fits in to

I was surprised when an assistant had me take off my shoe took my orthotics I don’t know this person and I don’t know his training I’m not seeing the doctor first, he takes my old orthotics and my new ones and he trims them and I have no idea who this person is or what kind of training he has. Then the doctor comes in and has me walk asked me how it is. I told him it didn’t feel the same as before I’ve worn a thought IX for probably close to eight years if not longer. He said come back into weeks. I did not feel listened to. I have a fused toe on the foot that didn’t feel right. Not the doctor. Then the doctor comes in and has me walk asked me how it is. I told him it didn’t feel the same as before I’ve worn orthodics for close to eight years if not longer. He said come back in 2 weeks. I did not feel listened to. I have a fused toe on the foot that didn’t feel right. It was not discussed.

I saw Dr. Carter, he is a very nice and polite Dr. I like him a lot. I think that I just needed a bit more of explanation in simple words of my condition. Some patients like me do not have a concept of terms that doctors use. But other than that I love been his patient.

Dr Carter was exceptional. The surgery center (Precision Surgery) has been a challenge - my insurance claims associated with the surgery center have still not been settled 8 months and counting after the surgery due to issues with how the center submitted the paperwork
