Patient Reviews of University Foot and Ankle Institute

This is my second surgery with Dr Franson. I drive five hours to see him. Absolutely worth it. I’ve given UAFI’s contact info to everyone I know who’ve ever complained about so much as sore feet.

I don’t like ALL the reminders by phone and emails/texts. It really is annoying. That is why it is a 9 and not a 10. I’m not sure I would recommend you to a friend for this reason alone. We love Dr Feldman

Dr. Briskin made me feel comfortable the moment he walked thru the door with his kind words and his relaxed manner. He was knowledgeable, knew what was going on with my foot issues. He gave me exercises to do and the name of the surgical procedure once my Achilles Tendon is stretched enough to allow it. I am very thankful my Chiropractor, Dr. Roy Hughes recommended Dr. Briskin and I knew if Tom Cruise's choice was University Foot & Ankle, it would be mine as well. HyproCure Implant here I come. I was actually looking forward to having the surgery and came in with a very positive attitude. It was just a very nice bonus to have such caring and responsible people handing my preparations and surgery. It was a very positive experience that I’m happy to share.

Professional without being overly clinical. My appointment was on time, xrays were quick and the determination of orthotics to help alleviate my bunion was explained along with other more invasive treatments. Casting was also quick (and I felt my feet were getting a facial! )

Dr Franson is great. He does a great job and really cares about his patients. He spends time to listen and answer questions and is so nice. The staff are really amazing too. They all have such good energy and took care of my disability paperwork for me. They are so thorough and helpful. I love how efficient the office runs. I never have to wait too long to be seen. I love that I am in and out and all of my needs are taken care so quickly. They are such an effective, well oiled machine in that office. I would definitely recommend this office and my doctor.

Dr Redkar is a very good communicator with her patient
She is professional and friendly at the same time
She is passionate about the patient’s concerns, And provides excellent clinical skills for her patients

I saw doctor on a Monday and was told his staff would get back to me by end of week regarding surgery and insurance coverage. Didn’t hear from anyone so went into office that Friday around 4 pm. Was told surgery scheduler still had to process my information and I should hear from them by end of day the coming Monday. Waited until Wednesday and still hadn’t heard from anyone so went into office again around 4 pm. Was told surgery scheduled had to clarify some things with doctor and would hear from them on Friday. Still didn’t hear from anyone by 4 pm so went into office again and was able to speak with surgery scheduler. Know everyone is busy but i shouldn’t have to drive the process. Other than that, my experience has been very positive.

The wait to see the doc once in the room was 45 minutes not to include the wait in the waiting room. My suggestion is to have the patient wait in the waiting room until the doc is ready to see you. The chair in the room was uncomfortable as well.
