I went to University Foot and Ankle Institute and I was seen by Dr. Briskin. Let me tell you that I am glad that I went to see Dr. Briskin. I was misdiagnosed. I don't have a fracture hairline on my foot. But I do suffer from Achilles pain. Now I am scheduled for surgery and I am ecstatic for the surgery this pain is unbearable. If you need a second opinion the University Foot and Ankle Institute is the place to come. I am glad I came here!!

Most awesome podiatirst in Los Angeles. Dr Saeedi is absolutely amazing. He scores a 5 +++ in all areas...knowledge, medical technique, professionalism, explaining medical condition to the patient, listening and answering questions. His caring and compassion are very much in evidence. I have been to 5 podiatrists in Los Angeles over the years and none of them compare. And his office staff totally reflect his values and caring.

The receptionist/office person in Sherman Oaks didn’t follow up with my insurance company and essentially lied to me when she told me the delay was because you were waiting for a response from Blue Shield for surgery approval After a week, I called Blue Shield and no request had ever been been submitted I called and complained and asked to talk to the office manager who never called me back Within an hour I suddenly had the approval I don’t like being lied to It creates a lot distrust

The people to whom you referred me, FIT, did an outstanding job on my foot, probably actually saved it. I could not be more grateful. The surgeon was amazing, nursing staff excellent. The person administering the anesthesia was an annoying loudmouth, however. That said, as I told Dr. Briskin, the FIT facility is a completely trashy facility, certainly not up to any reasonable standards of medical facility decorum It looks and feels like being in a storage closet. Unsanitary. In marketing we have a concept of associative values. University's branding is excellent, FIT's branding is completely sub par from a facility standpoint and does not encourage positive patient perceptions for for image and reputation. I would return to FIT if I had to. I urged Dr. Briskin to visit FIT and make up his own mind. When there he must make a thorough inspection of patient bed corridors and operating area, storage, identity of non-medical people wandering around and judge it from a patient's point of view. Again, FIT and Dr. Briskin saved my foot and I couldn't be more grateful.

Great with the nurse Maria and the doctor, however the front office can use more training experience regarding friendly service and on the billing & the billing department can improve on processing the claims in a more timely fashion so I don’t have to go back to them and request a refund.

I was called by billing about my remaining portion of the bill. The amount seemed high and it turned out that although I had given both my Medicare and supplemental insurance cards to the front desk ( as I always do!), only the Medicare card was on record and so my secondary insurance hadn’t been billed! So I made a pdf of the secondary card and sent it in an email to the billing person who was very nice and helpful. I have not yet received an invoice with the final amount I owe but understand that the process can take time.

Had test to determine need for ultrasound re circulation to toes. No notice from you regarding ultrasound appointment. Called day before appointment for ultrasound and was told I needed to keep appointment. About an hour later was told I did not need to come in for the ultrasound appointment. You should have called earlier in the week so I could make alternate plans for the day of my appointment. Different answers to the same question does not help your credability

I always see Dr. Feldman in Westlake. Because of office flooding, I had to go to Chatsworth this time. I would probably never go back to the Chatsworth office again. Of course, it was overcrowded with both doctors' patients there. But, the environment was awful. Also, I got bitten by some kind of bug, as I noticed itching around my ankles when I left. Then, it was like an insect was under the skin of my ankles and digging trenches. Really. It spread and was terribly itchy. I think it was mites in the carpet of the waiting room. It took about 2 weeks for it to clear up, and was very itchy the whole time. I didn't go anywhere else that day, except home. You should have that carpet fumigated.
