Patient Reviews of University Foot and Ankle Institute

Dr. Briskin and his staff are excellent. Dr. Briskin is very skilled, listens well, diagnoses quickly, explains very well to the lay person and I like that he has a variety of tools at his disposal. He has provided excellent advice to me. However, billing is another issue. For three days in a row, I have called the office number to ask to speak to someone about billing and I have never reached a live person and have not received a call back.

I was referred to Dr Gina by my primary care doctor, Dr K, in the same building. First visit left G’s office almost giddy from my pain free left foot. This is huge to me being on my feet most of the day as a Machinist.
5 weeks later same result with my right foot.
She did for me what the previous 3 doctors could not or did not do.
Fantastic would sum up the entire office.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating…asked if I needed parking validation, provided a couple of options for me getting my primary health insurance to them. Nurse; nice and personable. The doctor (second opinion) reviewed my condition, prescribed an upgraded medication, recommended a bunion cushion
(provided a couple), confirmed what I knew. I would like to have him perform the surgery when I decide to do so.

The staff is very friendly and cordial. The staff is very welcoming and have empathy with the patients. I have been treated with so much empathy and friendliness. Also, the staff is very knowledgeable about their patients.

Overall I think the doctors and nurses are nice, however the doctor always seems very rushed and does not offer much insight/advice. Would advise him to slow down and spend some time with the patient. However, they all seem very knowledgeable in their field and nice, - just busy.

The old staff at Woodland Hills has been nad is excellent. A new person has been hired for the front desk who is not well informed how to approach and handle patients. She might be a good addtion to a ticket sale business.

I really loved the experience. My previous podiatry experience (elsewhere) was definitely inferior to this in that I felt ill prepared for my procedure, did not recover as easily or well due to the ill preparedness pre-op, and wouldn’t want to go back due to the previously mentioned reasons.

Great experience overall! Dr. Baravarian and all of the team has been very helpful, caring and attentive throughout the entire process. Bunion surgery went smoothly. Recovery has been as expected and is going very well! Thank you!
