I know I am in the best care however Sometimes I feel very rushed in my appt. It makes me panic to try to think of all my questions and inevitably I forget some. That is honestly something I HATE when going to dr office.
It’s the only thing I would complain about and if I recommended Dr Baravarian to someone I would just tell that person to be ultra prepared when going into the office.

Dr. Baravarian misdiagnosed a simple issue. I came back a week later to show that the "callus" he diagnosed was actually NOT, and in fact I could see/feel that a second issue was beginning to form in the same exact area. Well, they tried to charge me for this second visit and after refusing and requiring his admin to speak to the doctor, they obliged.
Upon seeing me, Dr. Baravarian's first question/comment was, "Did you leave a review?" I told him no and that I wasn't planning to (until today which is months after I initially saw him and after I got a second opinion). He proceeded to lecture me about how to not tell doctors that they "misdiagnose". A word which at the time I never used, I simply wanted my issue resolved. He then took a look at the issue and proceeded to tell me the first was an issue. He insisted that what I thought was a second forming issue was in fact a callus. He then used this as an opportunity to confuse the situation and say the "callus" was what I had him look at the last time I had seen him, and that he didn't misdiagnose me, and that I was wrong. Upon seeing another podiatrist today, they're in fact both issues. In addition, Dr. Baravarian did not treat me whatsoever and told me to use a home remedy. The other podiatrist treated me with acid to immediately treat the issue. Not sure why Dr. Baravarian didn't do this on my first visit, I can only imagine it was because he wanted me back for multiple visits to make more $$. At the end of my second visit, Dr. Baravarian ended it by asking me, "so, how much do YOU think I should charge you today?". I replied with "nothing". He was pretty mad at my response, so I asked if I had an issue that he missed the first time around. Again, he quickly tried to confuse the situation, rolling his eyes at me and stormed out of the office condescendingly.
Both visits were no more than 4 minutes. After my first visit with him, I actually recommended him to my wife as she was having issues with cracked heels while she was pregnant... They charged her $200 because they pumiced stone'd her heel (way more than our copay). Her visit was also no more than 5 min.
Will never go here again.

They fit me in between appointments so it was a quick visit. They wanted all my paperwork aligned with payment and it felt like that was the focus and not my foot.

The only problem was not being told by the doctor or surgery scheduler that if i need an implant in my foot that my insurance would not cover it. I only found our 4 days begore my surgery from the surgery center ,not the office, that it would cost me $3,200 if i got the implant. This should have been told to me from day one before i scheduled the surgery

I had quadruple bunion and neuroma surgery November 2017 and I have more pain now than I ever had before the surgery. I followed all post op instructions. I went to physical therapy. Dr. Baravarian says my feet look “perfect” in the X-ray but what good is that when my feet hurt so much!?

I asked for an application or whatever I needed to get a temporary disabled parking placard. I was told sure, but both the front desk and I forgot by the time I was given my paperwork and follow-up appointment. That was the only thing not perfect. But I was very happy with my overall experience and the care I received, as well as having my questions answered.

I feel it’s better to give patients details of what was done. I got vague details & had to ask at follow up appts, e.g. #of hardware &where, after surgery foot cleanliness, (I had blisters entirely cover bottom of foot n kids all the skin, the smell was embarrassing) what to expect at 2wk intervals to give patient hope in healing and realistic expectations that it’s a long post surgery healing sp patience is needed. At 10 weeks I can finally walk on my foot with a supportive shoe.

The inserts provide no reduction in the pain where the pain is worst--i.e., the bottom of the joints where the metatarsals meet the proximal phalanges.

Dr. Baravarian has provided wise counsel and concrete surgical solutions to my foot problems for more than a decade. If my current problem (right foot/painful lump) doesn't correct itself, I trust he will do whatever is necessary--or, at the least, will explain my options. A definite "10"! Thank you.
