The online symptom reporting software doesn’t work. Ever time I log in, whether by email or text message, freezes after the page indicating if my injury is on the left or right foot. I get a spinning icon and nothing appears thereafter.

The front desk girls have been incredible and helpful! I have been told multiple times that an assistant of the doctor would call me when I had questions…and never received a phone call from the assistant.. So, first of all, thank you so much for asking and encouraging an honest, if not blunt, response.
Let me begin by saying that the staff was very warm and friendly.
I really appreciate that!
I once left the practice of a prominent Valley Podiatry duo because the staff ran the spectrum between indifferent and rude.
However, as lovely as your staff is, they did not flag the fact that I am a Type 1 Diabetic for the doctor. I completed multiple forms prior to my visit, the fact that I am a type one diabetic should have jumped out and been highlighted on my chart. Dr. Baravarian books his appointments aggressively and does not allow time to flip through charts to acquaint himself with his patients. Someone needs to.
Speaking of which, I felt my (New Patient) appointment was rushed. I received a diagnosis and treatment recommendation, but I did not leave understanding what caused it, nor if it could be cured, or merely managed.
A patient wants to feel like a person, not a diagnosis.
They want to feel like the doctor actually cares.
I hope you accept this critique in the spirit in which it was intended: to be elucidating, constructive & helpful.

I feel fantastic about my experience! I was so scared to get the injection in my ankle, and it wound up being nothing like I expected…it barely hurt so I was thrilled! I had no pain or soreness the next day, and didn’t even have to take any Tylenol. The pain in my ankle has gone away, but I am being very careful and wearing my brace the entire day until I go to sleep.
I’m praying that with the next shot in a couple of weeks, my hopeful outcome will be achieved and I can avoid surgery. Dr. Bob is the best!!
