Dr. Johnson was very attentive to my issues and gave me multiple alternatives and treatment options.
Although I went in hoping for surgery and quick fix, Dr. Johnson assured me that is was his policy to start conservatively and never schedule surgery on the first visit.
His conservative treatment has actually releaved my issues and I am extremely happy.
I highly recommend him.

Dr Johnson was fabulous, knowledgeable & caring! I would recommend him to anyone like king for a great podiatrist!! He is also a new member of our Rotary Club in Santa Barbara so looking forward to getting to know him socially!

I have a serious foot problem with pain and Dr. Johnson was and is very caring and considerate in his assessment. I am relying on his future opinion as to any help I may need after I complete necessary nerve conduction studies.

I was very satisfied with the Dr and the receptionist. The doctor advised me to buy a product from you, Formula 7, which was a little pricey. When I got home, I could not find very good instructions on how to use it. There was no leaflet inside the box and only sketchy instructions on the box. I went on line, and there were no better instructions there either. It seems to be for treating athlete's foot on the skin, not toenail fungus, which is the problem I have. I called the office to hopefully get better instructions and reached someone in Santa Monica. She said she would have someone call me back, but no one called me. I feel the doctor should have explained how to use this product, or there should be a hand-out, especially since the box specifically says it is not effective for treating toenail fungus, and it says this on line as well. So I'm doing the best I can with what I consider incomplete information.

I really appreciated Dr. Johnson's help and manner. His way of talking, along with the help and information he offered, was helpful and reassuring. His office person Jessica was great. She acted like a real person, not just a role, while efficiently getting things done.

I was very impressed with Dr. A. Johnson. Very professional but very warm and kind. Explained everything extremely well. I was so pleased. His office staff were great as well. I was particularly impressed with the ease of getting my appointment in a timely fashion. Other offices I checked would not schedule me for up to 2+ months…for an ingrown toe nail! I have been telling every one if they need a Podiatrist to immediately contact Dr. A. Johnson. And in addition, his office is so convenient and easy parking! I’m so happy my internist Dr. M. The staff and Dr Johnson were friendly prompt and professional. Very much appreciated Dr Johnson and his slow approach to addressing my foot pain. I don’t want to jump to therapy and his suggestions to try different options before we go to surgery is much appreciated. Nice calm atmosphere in the office too.

I appreciated the way both Dr. Johnson and the woman at the desk took care of me.
I really liked that Dr. Johnson took x-rays of both my feet, even though my problem was only one foot, and showed them to me adding explanations. I liked that Dr. Johnson recommended two brands of shoes I might wear to help my condition. The shoes allowed me to walk. I liked that he had visited the PT facility he recommended. The PT person was wonderful and skillful, knowing what to do for my not-so-usual condition (attached facia). Thank you.

Dr Johnson and his staff are exceptional! I am so incredibly thankful to have them in Santa Barbara, as my trips down to L.A. locations were a hardship on us. Dr Johnson was totally knowledgeable about my very painful foot issue, provided an immediate solution that has worked for months now, and was professional, caring, and friendly! Dr. Johnson saved me from so much pain no matter what shoes I wore. Starting with removing the painful callouses then onto new orthotics.
He patiently helped me choose shoes that were appropriate for my feet (which also affects by back)!! I have full confidence in Dr. Johnson!!
