Suzanne Hawson, PT, MPT, OCS
Suzanne is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic physical therapy with an emphasis in the area of foot and ankle rehabilitation. She received her Masters of Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge with honors; and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She is published in the professional journal, Techniques in Orthopaedics and also serves on the editorial board for the Foot & Ankle Specialist. She has an extensive background in sports medicine, post surgical rehabilitation, biomechanical evaluation, manual therapy, and functional training. Suzanne has special interests in injury prevention and sports medicine as she enjoys outdoor sports and competes in triathlons, cycling, and running races. Suzanne is available for physical therapy at the Valencia location.

Gray O’Brien, PT
Gray is a highly trained orthopedic based therapist with specialty in foot and ankle care. He has expertise in surgical post-operative care and injury recovery. Gray is available for physical therapy at the Santa Monica location.

Avi Amit, PT
Avi graduated from the Tel Aviv University, department of Physical Therapy and moved to Los Angeles in 1988. Avi worked at Centinela Hospital and its LAX Urgent Care/ Occupational Health clinic for 17 years as a physical therapist, manager and Executive Director. Working at this clinic, Avi specialized in orthopedic, sports and work related injuries, providing On-Site Ergonomics Evaluations and Training classes for major companies and factories in the area, assisting them with injury prevention programs. During 1996-1997, Avi was one of the physical therapists for the PGA and the Senior PGA tours, enjoying the opportunity to learn the game of golf and be around some of the world’s “top golfers.” For the last 12 years, Avi has been also treating elderly patients at convalescent homes around LA, which he finds very stimulating and rewarding. Avi joined the Foot and Ankle Institute in January 2007 and is available for appointments in the Santa Monica location.
